Unity for a Federal Democratic Myanmar
14 September 2025
I met Mr. Kim Aris, son of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, on September 13, Saturday.
We reaffirmed our shared determination to end military dictatorship and to build a genuine Federal Democratic Union.
Our discussion centered on:
• The urgent humanitarian crisis facing the people of Myanmar.
• The need for stronger, accountable leadership that earns the trust of our citizens.
• The immediate and unconditional release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all political prisoners as a first step toward a peaceful political transition.
Together, we expressed profound sorrow for the young students whose lives were taken in the airstrikes on Pyinnyar Pan Khinn and A Myin Thit High Schools in Thayet Thapin Village, Kyauktaw, Rakhine State. Their innocent dreams were stolen while they slept.
The military must cease its campaign of terror against civilians and abandon plans for a sham election.
Only through solidarity and unity can we achieve freedom, dignity, and lasting justice for all the people of Myanmar.
