The spokesperson for the Office of the President participated in a discussion to mark International Human Rights Day

In commemoration of the 76th International Human Rights Day, a panel discussion was held under the theme "What is the Progress in Preparing for the Transitional Period and the Establishment of a Future Federal Democratic Union?" U Kyaw Zaw, spokesperson for the Office of the President and a member of the National Unity Government's Strategic Communication and Public Relation Unit (SCPRU), participated as a panelist and led the discussion.
U Kyaw Zaw discussed efforts to promote values such as equality, freedom, and justice, plans for the transitional period, and the foundational principles related to the constitutional framework of the transitional period. He also highlighted the need to prevent political vacuums and the possibility of a failed state during the revolution's final stages, and emphasized ongoing efforts to establish governance capable of maintaining stability.
Along with U Kyaw Zaw, the discussion also featured Ma May Nhin (JCC-TJ), Naw Sae Sae, the organizing and political leader of the Women's League of Burma (WLB), Banyar Khun Aung, Secretary-2 of the Karenni State Interim Executive Council (IEC). Daw Khin Lay of Woman Advocacy Coalition Myanmar served as the event moderator.
The discussion, held on December 10, 2024, at 7:00 PM Myanmar Standard Time via online platform, was organized by the Ministry of Human Rights, National Unity Government.
