How to Contribute in Myanmar Spring Revolution

Prayer Service for the 3rd Anniversary of the Spring Revolution

Dear Friends,
On behalf of the people of Myanmar, I share our immense gratitude for your heartfelt solidarity with us.

Today’s prayer service commemorates three years of renewed resistance and resilience by our people.
Our refusal to surrender our freedom and democracy to one of the world’s most brutal militaries stands as a shining example to the world. But it has demanded immense sacrifice.

I invite each of you to take a moment of reflection for the 4,444 Myanmar civilians who have been murdered by the military junta, and the 19,975 who remain illegally detained by them.

The junta has driven another 2.6 million people from their communities, razed 90,000 homes to the ground, and destroyed over 350 schools, healthcare facilities and places of worship.

This is the appalling price of our freedom.

Yet, by God’s grace, our Spring Revolution is today stronger than ever. Our people stand firm in their resolve to deliver a truly federal Myanmar that is united, free and fair. Now is when the cycle of darkness and dictatorships must end.

And so, I ask you all to join us in:
A prayer for peace.
A prayer for freedom over tyranny.
A prayer for relief from suffering.
A prayer that the National Unity Government and its ethnic partners, guided by providence, will have the strength and wisdom to lead our people to victory.

And a prayer that, with the sustained support of our friends, we will deliver a Myanmar renewed by justice, equality, liberty and opportunity.
We are truly blessed to have your solidarity and support.

God bless you all.
