Acting President and Members of NUG hold a discussion with Special Advisory Council for Myanmar

On December 20, Acting President Duwa Lashi La of the National Unity Government and government officials met with the Special Advisory Council for Myanmar via Zoom.
Along with the Acting President, the meeting was attended by National Unity Government officials including: the Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Union Minister for Human Rights, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Minister for International Cooperation, the Secretary of the Government, the Secretary of the President's Office, and the President's Office Spokesperson.
The Special Advisory Council for Myanmar (SAC-M) is an independent international expert group established to support the Myanmar people's struggle for human rights, peace, democracy, justice and accountability.
The Special Advisory Council for Myanmar (SAC-M) includes as members: Mr. Marzuki Darusman, former Chair of the UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar (FFM), Professor Yanghee Lee, former UN Special Rapporteur on Myanmar, and Mr. Sidoti, former member of the UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar (FFM).
