Today marks the first cabinet meeting of the year 2025, and I believe this is a moment for all of us to begin the revolutionary journey anew\u2014with fresh minds, renewed spirits, and strengthened determination. At today\u2019s meeting, I would like to begin by encouraging everyone to move forward with the mindset that \"2025 will be a year of transformation.\" When we speak of transformation, it refers not only to the changes in external circumstances that we will inevitably face, but also to the internal changes we must each undertake within ourselves.<\/p>\n
At every cabinet meeting, I have consistently emphasized one key principle:\nOur revolutionary work must be done \"swiftly, efficiently, and effectively.\" As early as the end of 2024, we had already begun discussions and made decisions regarding the plans and initiatives we need to implement in 2025. Some of these are still under detailed discussion, but many already have clear directions and collective decisions that we all share. Therefore, I want to stress the importance of aligning our words with our actions and urge everyone to implement our action plans systematically and concretely in the real world.<\/p>\n
Looking back on the steps we took in 2024, I encourage all of us to reflect deeply and strive to achieve even greater performance and impact in 2025. It is also time for each ministry to begin presenting their respective plans and progress to the public. The Ministry of Defence, in its leading role, has already reported to the public on its achievements and outlined the next phases of work. I want to express my appreciation and pride for that effort. Likewise, I urge the other ministries to clearly communicate their upcoming plans and ensure a strong, transparent relationship with the public. Maintaining a solid connection with the people is especially important as we move forward.<\/p>\n
Finally, and most importantly, I want to emphasize that the year 2025 must be the beginning of a period of internal reform and transformation for our National Unity Government. However, let me be clear\u2014this transformation should be one of substance and structure, aimed at producing tangible and effective outcomes. At the same time, I want to reaffirm that our core objectives remain unchanged: the building of a new federal democratic union and the complete dismantling of military dictatorship. These guiding principles will never be abandoned.<\/p>\n
We are not afraid of change. In fact, it is our desire for change that drives us forward as a revolutionary government. We embrace changing circumstances with the belief that we can shape those changes into something positive for the people and for the country. And when personal transformation is necessary, we will not hesitate. We must be ready to change ourselves\u2014boldly and resolutely\u2014for the sake of our nation and our people. We want to demonstrate that this kind of courageous self-transformation is not only possible, but essential.<\/p>\n
We have seen and learned of the recent meetings between the Union Prime Minister and members of frontline forces on the ground. The ability of a senior government leader to directly engage with members of frontline forces is not only a tremendous morale boost for them, but also a great source of strength and encouragement for our entire revolutionary movement.<\/p>\n
