It is of paramount importance that the public is well-informed about the genuine state of the revolution. Therefore, we will provide regular monthly updates to keep the public informed about the revolution's progress to enhance the Spring revolution and the people being one.<\/p>\n<p>Having passed 2 years of revolution, we are intensifying military operations with the potential to weaken the enemy's armed forces. Notably, between 2022 and 2023, we were engaged in more than 6800 defensive battles, including the seizure of more than 100 camps. This represents huge success and achievement in comparison to the initial year of our defensive efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The military group, which regards the public as enemies and resorts to violent attacks, is merely a terrorist armed group. While our revolutionary comrades ardently battle with unwavering conviction and the guiding light of the revolution, it is an undeniable reality that the Military council\u2019s soldiers have completely lost their purpose. This is not a call to underestimate our enemies; it is a call to strategically assess the enemy's vulnerabilities and exploit them to expedite the revolution's progress.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the battle we are currently fighting is the last battle. Saying the last battle doesn't mean that we're not going to fight again whether we lose or win this battle. This revolution is the landmark to end the military dictatorship not allowing any dictatorship to survive in this land again and hence, never needing to fight again after winning this revolution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My dear and respected fellow citizens,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The terrorist military council has announced an intention to hold a ceremony on October 15th, marking the (8th) anniversary of the National Ceasefire Agreement (NCA). However, it's important to note that the NCA became void on February 1, 2021, when the terrorist army attempted to forcibly seize state power. Organizations like KNU, CNF, and ABSDF, which were signatories to the NCA, have publicly declared its nullification. The military council, in its actions, displays a clear disregard for and violation of the NCA agreement and its principles. Hosting an annual event in commemoration of the NCA, after having breached it, is an overtly dishonorable and blatant act.<\/p>\n<p>On October (9th), the military council deliberately launched an airstrike on a displacement camp near Laiza, Kachin State. This is a very inhumane act and a war crime against humanity. Tragically, this incident resulted in the loss of 13 innocent children, including a 2-month-old infant and the lives of up to 30 individuals, encompassing women and the elderly, while leaving over 57 others injured. In the wake of these shattered lives, grieving families, and suffering individuals, it is imperative that justice be upheld. We must collectively strive towards this noble cause.<\/p>\n<p>I earnestly urge the international community and ethnic armed groups that it\u2019s not the time to participate in the (8th) anniversary celebration of the NCA organized by the terrorist military council leader. This is not the time to celebrate about the NCA, this is a time to review what happened.<\/p>\n<p>A military council that brutally kills civilians, including children and the elderly, will never bring about a genuine peace.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the NCA treaty's signing, both the government and the parliament were involved. The military council, being a mere terrorist group, lacks the authority to host the annual NCA event. The military council, which disrupts the nation's peace daily, cannot provide a reliable pathway to lasting peace. The terrorist military's sham peace process will not achieve freedom, peace, and self-determination demanded by the people, which are the essence of federal democracy.<\/p>\n<p>To our international friends, we strongly urge you all not to recognize the disreputable actions of the military council but to persist in their exclusion. No commendable political commitments be expected from the dishonorable terrorist military council, as their pursuit of peace serves only their self-interest political agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Matters related to federal democracy impact the entire nation and represent the collective future of our country. Honesty and genuine political passion are pivotal standards and principles in implementing these endeavors.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, we, as the National Unity Government, will stand unwaveringly on these fundamental standards and policies, will work hard until we achieve the establishment of a peaceful and prosperous federal democratic state for our people by collaborating with the ethnic revolutionary forces.
